About the project
This is a delivery mobile app that is designed to simplify and enhance the user experience in terms of delivering, tracking, and receiving packages. With a fresh and user-friendly interface, the app is a game changer in the traditional tedious parcel delivery systems market.
The User Flow
One of the other challenges we have to tackle is identifying user personas and mapping out their journey. This is one of the most crucial stages that determine the success of the app. Since we noticed that the app does not have a specific target audience and the app would be used by a different set of users who has different demographics, it was crucial to design it in a way that is relevant and easy to use.
The UX Fundamental
To enhance the overall user experience of the app, we not only created thematic UI design but also incorporated a few key features to make Package Delivery a go-to platform for its varied users.
InApps also created a 1-1 chatting option that enables users to send inquiries related to their shipment, payment, or information about the order status. The users will be connected directly to the admin which makes it become a one-of-a-kind experience for users.
Through the platform, users can review the condition of the package and the driver’s experience. It aims to create a safe and secure environment for its users by allowing them to communicate with each other. IndiaNIC’s intuitive UI design helped the platform achieve this.
In order to create a seamless user experience, the payment screen was designed in a way that can show maximum information with minimum clutter since there were so many features made to fit in a confined space of a single screen.
In the market, several platforms are similar to the app project. It becomes a challenge for our design team to brainstorm and conceptualize a UX design that can differentiate us from previous competitors yet still align with the industry standards.
App's Functionalities & Feature
One of the more important features was “creating a shipment” and filling in the required details. A special feature of selecting “irregular shipment type” which could range from crockery, and food to even pets.
Order tracking is the most important user flow of any delivery system. While tracking screens are confusing and full of clutter, we designed the “track order” screen with a birds-eye view of the entire track history to keep the user’s efficiency in mind.
The last and final step was of receiving packages. With only important information showcasing in the received package history, the users can also explore their entire shipment list and view the status of each shipment.
