Data streaming technology has become increasingly important for informing business decision-making in real-time. Cloud native architectures are taking more advantage of streaming data for traditional analytics, operational insights and systems management. And new use cases such as artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) and real-time personalization are emerging.

To better understand how and why data streaming is used in cloud applications, Lightbend has partnered with InApps Technology for its second annual survey on fast data trends. The results will surface use cases for data streaming technologies, focusing on the choices and challenges of the technologists who manage architectures with data streaming requirements, including emerging cloud native architecture. We’re looking to uncover insights based on questions like:

  • How are developers, DevOps and architects using stream processing in their applications?
  • Which workloads see increasing use of this technology?
  • What challenges are you facing in production?
  • What benefits does the use of real-time data bring to your business, applications and/or infrastructure?
Take the Survey

Please take our 10-minute survey. Lightbend will donate $1 for every response to the nonprofit Girls Who Code to help close the gender gap in technology. The results will be shared publicly in a Lightbend report and on InApps Technology.

Your responses will give the industry at large a better understanding around important trends in data streaming technology and how it’s affecting cloud application architecture decisions.
